Our mission and our name

Connaître NOLA aims to help people advance their French language education. In addition, we want to help foster and educate others on the French Creole history of New Orleans. Connaître NOLA  strives to instill a passion for French language and culture in students and adults through activities like "Creole Cooking Classes" and "Walking Tours of New Orleans: that divulge into the city’s roots". We are excited about these projects because while educating others, we are educating ourselves and learning more about the history of our home.
